Last week we got together to make freezer corn. 350 quarts done and in the freezers to last our family through out the winter. One thing down...a hundred to go ;)
We have been having beautiful winter weather. The snow has been falling and the kids have loved every minute of it! All of the local schools were even closed, so I was nice enough to give my kids a snow day from homeschool...even thought we totally could have done school anyways. We've been busy shoveling and plowing and sledding and playing. It's been fun!
David fired up the snowmobile and pulled the kids behind it in their sled.
June was thrilled. She was running and chasing the sled everywhere, but as time went on, she got more and more behind because she was getting worn out.
May is getting so playful...she will bite anything! When the kids try to get on all of their snow gear, she bites and tugs at their gloves or coats...and they get mad at her...but they love it when she plays with rope or string and follows them!
she also loves to chase the snow shovel when we are clearning out the driveways...
We spent the snow day shoveling out ourselves, grandma and some of our neighbors...
and once the work was done, it was time for a little sledding!
Poor Russ...he couldn't even get down the hill because June kept getting in his way. May is learning quick, because she wasn't far behind!
We got a call from our cousins later in the day to come and sled on their hills at their house. What a fun day it was!
