Our Easter weekend was lovely...how about yours? It was a beautiful weekend with amazing weather. Easter is always a special time to reflect upon the sacrifices made by our Savior, Jesus Christ. How thankful I am for His example...and for the representation of His Resurrection that we find in spring. Things can get so bare and ugly here in the winter, and it seems that there is no hope, but just as Christ was Resurrected, our earth also comes back to life...blooming with beauty and newness all around. I am so thankful for this time of year.
All seriousness aside, is your house a wreck like mine after the holiday weekend? There are candy wrappers here and there...Easter grass (I hate that stuff), shoes and coats strewn throughout the house. It was a fun weekend, but it is going to take me a few days to get back on track. I have a to-do list a mile long...so I'll be tackling as much as I can this week. We spent most of our weekend outside enjoying Eater activities and working in the warm spring weather, so I've fallen behind. I took a lot of photos over the weekend, but for now, here are a few pics of the kids all dressed up for church in their Easter duds...
