We FINALLY got some snow yesterday and last night. The kids played outside until well after dark last night building snowmen and playing in the yard. This morning, they couldn't seem to stop thinking about all of that wonderful snow outside...So, we switched things up a little for our school day today. They started off by getting dressed, eating breakfast and doing chores, and then, they headed outside for a few hours of "recess" before we started school. Why? Because we can! I love the freedom that we have with homeschool :)
And June...she is just like one of the kids. She is beyond excited to chase the kids around and play with them in the snow. She follows Russ up and down the hill. I love this first photo of June...it looks like she has the biggest grin on her face...
You have to love the freedom of recess when the weather calls for it, out of the box learning experiences whenever possibe, and the ability to customize school to your childrens needs! We homeschool our children as well and love every second of it! Love your pictures and your stories, keep it up! :)

These are so beautiful!!! And yes, homeschooling is great, it is something we are thinking for my son's last 3 years of school. We have him now in a very, *VERY* small school and it does bring freedom...and most important (for me) no stress! none!!! So, yes, it is amazing! And I am sure they are super happy about that too :)
Have fun in the snow!
Dayami :)
