I'm trying to backtrack and catch up on a few posts. The fourth is a holiday we look forward to every year. We always have a special day spent with family. This year was really hard because of Lisa's passing...we weren't sure if we were going to have our usual celebration or not. After a lot of thought, everyone decided that Lisa would be very angry with us if we didn't enjoy the day...she was always the life of the party, and loved to see everyone have a great day. It was comforting to spend the whole day with our loved ones, and to enjoy a family tradition...but Lisa wasn't far from our minds.
The kids had a great time riding (and giving rides) in the train...
They decorated the train like they always do, and look at the cute little signs one of the kids made...
throwing snaps...
spending time with cousins...
and of course, no Christensen family party would be complete without slip and sliding...
and there was delicious dutch oven cooking...
and homemade root beer...
lots of visiting...
basketball...
relaxing in the shade...
a bit of lawn mower racing...
celebrating Emme's birthday...
festive flip flops...
and Ashley high-jacking our picture...
an impromptu jam session and fireworks...
For this matter, once I discussed with one of my friends, not only about the content you talked about, but also to how to improve and develop, but no results. So I am deeply moved by what you said today
