Margee" (Grandmom)

I remember those days when my girls were growing up. Money just wasn't there for anything extra and they were sad when they could not buy any books.
Rules, there always are rules!

Oh my heavens! I remember all of the little boys in my classes always wanting to buy the random junk at book fairs - too funny! We made your pumpkin chocolate chip cookies yesterday and they were a HUGE hit! Thanks so much for sharing that recipe! :)

These little stories are great to have for the future!!! :)

I love reading small stories about your children...
So.. what did Russell buy ???
Have a nice sunday !

Well.....I never raised a boy....so it's hard for me to relate. I do believe girls think differently! He's such a cute kid. But I'm waiting to hear what he really came home with!

Oh the joy of boys!!! It must be wonderful to live in their little bubble ;-). I should know, I have two of them and even at the tender ages of 6 1/2 and 3 1/2 they have selective hearing. I can't wait to hear what he came home with! C'mon Russell, I know you can do it! :-)

OH my ... I just gave that same rule speech to my boy last week. His brain must have hurt too, he didn't do to well with following the directions. Hope your's did better :)

Sherelle, I for one am really enjoying hearing some of your everyday moments! It's nice to hear that your life is as crazy as mine!

My son says the same thing when I give him a list of rules. Males have short-term memory.

So cute! - I've always said yes to the books...but I have similar rules. And had to tell you - my own slightly perfectionist-obsessive daughter is 9, and really a great student, but so very hard on herself. Here's hoping they settle down soon!

Im sure he will make the right choice
What a character he is, he sounds like my son!
Koby has been saving his money for months for our book fair

That is great! Love it! Sound like something Zaine would do and say!

I firmly believe men and boys are wired differently than women and girls and it is so obvious from a very early age, isn't it?

that is a total word for word to what just happened with my son just 2 weeks ago.
right about then I was looking for my parenting manual.
I guess we are all in this together.
