Sometimes, as I visit my Typepad stats page, and realize that 1,318 people have looked at my blog today...it makes me curious. Curious of WHO you are...how you found me...but most of all, I wonder about YOU! I have visited some of your blogs (gals who have me on their blog roll), and I have loved what I've seen. In fact, today, I came across this super cute blog (my blog link is in their sidebar, so it showed up on my sitemeter) and found tons of fun ideas. I am curious...it sometimes feels like blogging is so one-sided...I post...you look, but I never get to "meet" most of you. So...if you have a free second, let me know who you are, how you found my blog, and share a link to your blog if you have one. I'm sure that many of my readers would like to visit your blogs as well (so leave a comment even if you are a common commentor on my blog)!
Likewise, a lot of creatives are going freelance because agencies don't want to pay account handlers / planners / project managers. Speaking to the person who does the work is appealing, hence the increasing number of tiny, new creative shops.

Hi Sherelle,
I just found your blog tonight through the Melissa Frances blog! I know your name as a SB designer but I had no idea that you have such a beautiful blog!
What a wonderful life you have...and yes, looks totally crazy and wonderful at the same time. Your kids are gorgeous and I'm amazed at the farm life. I'm not too familiar with that field so I'm looking forward to learning more!
And your pictures are gorgeous!!! I'll be visiting again :)

Hi,
I found your blog a few years ago, I think through a friend (christine) but I could be wrong. Anyways, I feel like I get heat from my friends and family for loving to do so many things and when I found your blog I melted. I felt so relieved and grateful to find others who find so much joy in photographing special sacred moments of their babies and taking the time to prepare and cook wonderful meals that bring the family closer, to experience and encourage talents, to push ourselves to learning and growing more and more because as mothers we learn, we really have no limits. I admire you not just because of your talents but because of your passion and your heart. From one busy mother.... who loves to spend her days in the kitchen and also stalking my babies childhoods away with my camera to another... thank you for taking the time to share your joy with all of us. I hope you may also find joy and inspiration from your fans as well.
and your darling gorgeous family does help! :)

Hi, Sherelle! I love to visit your blog. I can't believe the level of amazingness of your photography! What beautiful subjects you have, too. Each and every one. Your daily life is chronicled better than any magazine today. One of these days your blog will be too big for us small time visitors. You should publish a book of some sort. The energy abounds from your part of the world. Thanks for sharing! - Angela

Hello Sherelle and family from the Minneapolis area. I have been reading your blog for a few years now. I found it by surfing - and I am not sure how someone could visit and not return as your blog is stuffed full of amazing things.
I come to your blog for inspiration, for the love of children, for photography and all the wonderful photos you take, for the love of vintage things (WHOA... I am in love with your new pink lamp that you bought), for the love of family and animals, and that you completely inspire me to do more each and everyday. It is such a privilege to see inside your world, and to know your family without you really knowing me at all.
Happy summer to you - and thank you for sharing your life.

Hi Sherelle...
I honeslty don't remember how I found your blog....but now it is right at the top in my favorites list!
Your skills constantly amaze me on a weekly basis with all that you do with the kids, the farm, your photography, etc.....sometimes I feel guilty for complaining that I had too much to do for the day until I see all that you accomplished!
Have to say that your recipes are the greatest and thanks so much for sharing them! A lot of them have made their home permanently into our "keep" file of recipes we try out!
Can't wait to hear about your camera, lens, and any tips you can share.....I am slowly trying to learn to take better photos that capture every day life around here in our family of 8!
Thanks and have a great weekend!

Hi Sherelle,
I found your blog through my daughter, Sarah (Doodleblog). I enjoy all of the pictures of your kids and farm life. I used to live on a ranch in Eastern Oregon, as a girl. Now I live on 6 acres in the Willamette valley in Oregon. Love the vintage pix you and Shelby have been taking. What editing program do you use? I just started a blog in May, and have made reference to you a few times in it. Two of our grandchildren are living with us now, and the oldest is near Grace in age.She likes looking at the pictures of your kids and pets. She once asked me if when I posted a picture of her to my blog, if it would say "Sherelle Christensen" across it! :)
My blog is:http://onceuponadandelion.blogspot.com/

I always enjoy checking in to see what the family is up to. When I can't stand it any more I have to come down to visit. I loved your pictures of Mom before she passed away and we weren't in the country to be with her and our family. It meant so much to me! I love the pictures and recipes and a taste of home!

I just recently found your blog, but can't seem to remember how! It's great and I LOVE your photography and the "feel" of your site. I've also just started blogging (about three months now) from my home in Northwestern Minnesota. Looking at taking the plunge and buying a new digital SLR. I'll explore some more to see if you've talked about your camera, but if not, what are you shooting with?

I have been following your blog since I found out you were blogging. I'm sure I found out through Two Peas or possibly Creating Keepsakes. You have always been one of my favorite scrapbookers. Even though I don't scrapbook much anymore I keep coming back for your beautiful pictures, your love for your family and your simple life. It is very appealing!! The vintage photos have been fabulous. Some of the ones of Shelby are to die for. She definately knows how to work the camera.

I've been reading your blog for so long, I can't remember how I came across it in the first place. I think it was linked from a scrapbooking site? Anyway, I just love all your photos and stories. I think my favorites are the retro-photo shoots you've been posting recently (just gorgeous!), and when you do the posts about farming/harvest. My boyfriend and I live in Miami, FL, but he grew up on a farm in Washington State (he moved to FL after college), so he really enjoys your farming related posts also. Hmmm, how did I find your blog? Hard question to answer. I think it maybe was on the Melissa Frances blog. I linked immediately to your blog on my blog, because I FELL IN LOVE with your storytelling, photos, scrapbooking etc.
I visit you almost every day , but doesn't always leave a comment.
I'm amazed by your photos and how you edit them. You've inspired me to explore Photoshop even more, and I really adore the "old style" editing you do to your photos. And I loved it even more after you started wearing vintage clothes;)
So, who am I?! I'm Kristine, a 28 year old girl from Norway, living on a farm with my fiancee and our cat.
I do some freelance photography at my spare time, I love photoshop and I love to cardmake.

Hi there Sherelle! I'm a SAHM, military wife, and live in a small town in Oklahoma. I came across your blog through a link on a scrapbooking blog. Once I clicked on it--I was hooked. I could tell you had a heart of gold--so amazingly talented--yet so humble. It's fun to read your blog---there's always beautiful pictures and little tips--but mainly because you inspire---you inspire others to be a better mother and wife and at the same time..to enjoy the little things that bring you joy....like photography...baking...gardening. It's all about enjoying the journey, afterall! Wow...you must lose a lot of sleep eye with all that you accomplish in one day! LOL
Anyway, thanks so much for sharing pieces of you...you're awesome :)

Hi Sherelle -- I have enjoyed the photos you post on your blog. I love photography, and I live in southern Idaho. My husbands family lives in Blackfoot up to Rexburg, so we come up that way ever now and then. I first remember seeing some of your work at the Scrap Coop. I found your blog through Christy Tomlinson's blog -- I took a class from her in Boise. I really love to see your pictures and get ideas. Your kids are beautiful.... You do a fabulous job with them.

Hi Sherelle! I have left comments here and there, but I don't comment regularly...sorry! I live in a rural town in eastern WA state. I have two little girls, Grace and Claire, and I'm expecting baby #3! I can't remember when I found your blog, but it was through scrapbooking I believe...later I found a link to my cousin Heidi's(Nielsen-from Shelley, ID)blog, so I think you might know her!
I have to tell you that you are someone I really wish I was more like! I can tell you work very hard to provide such a loving and fun place for your children to grow up. I grew up on a farm, and we live in a farming community, but right now we don't have any land, just a small yard! So, if you hear of any real estate for sale in your neck of the woods...let me know and I'll make my husband find a job in eastern ID instead of WA! hee hee We have lots of family in IF and Rexburg, so we visit there frequently.
I've been trying to teach myself photography, so I enjoy looking to your work for inspiration, as well as your recipes, hairstyles, scrapbooking, etc etc etc. Thanks for taking the time to share your life with so many. You really do inspire me to be a better mother.

I can't remember how I found your blog but I've been reading since you were expecting Kate. I love all your cooking, crafting, and homemaking tips and love your stories about your kids - especially since I am now the proud mommy to a 4 month old little girl. I am already dreaming about when I can fix her hair using some of your great styles and ideas! Thanks for sharing your life with all of us!

My name is Kim. I'm 28 and live in Gardner, KS. I have no idea how I found your blog. One day (or probably over the course of a few days), I started with one blog and just hopped and hopped until I came up with a list of about 50 blogs on my Google Reader that I subscribed to!
Your blog caught my eye because of your pictures! I love your photography style. I also love your love for your family and the ambition that you have! I mean...you do a lot and it's motivation to me to do a lot more in my life too!
I have 2 blogs: www.rydenkim.blogspot.com and www.therydenfamily.blogspot.com.
Hope you have a great day!

Hi Sherelle! I too am a long time lurker here. I love your blog! I can't even remember how I found you, but I was hooked instantly. I love your photography, your crafts, your recipes ( I have made several!) I often dream about a country life - on a ranch - far from the hustle & bustle of suburbia! I live in the beautiful horse country of central Kentucky and I love seeing glimpses of life in your neck of the woods! I too will try to comment more so that our "relationship" isn't so onesided! Off to chauffeur kids - story of my life! Have a great weekend!

Hi Sherelle. Like so many others I never comment and I can't remember how I found your blog. :) But...I am so glad that I did! I am from Oklahoma and live on a ranch. I love that my kids get to grow up in the country. The thing I love the most about your blog is the things we have in common (my son and daughter have been riding on tractors with their daddy since they were babies) and the things that are different (I wish I were a stay at home mom). You just seem like you have a real sweet spirit and a great appreciation for all of your family. That is very refreshing. So, If you don't mind I would love to continue to be a lurker.:) and I'll even try to leave a comment on occasion.

Hello there! Cant remember exactly HOW I wandered upon your blog, but I absolutely love your photography! I live in central MS so the landscapes from your area are just SO DIFFERENT from the pine trees and red clay that I see everyday! Not to mention your family is just adorable! Thanks for sharing your life with us!

I read your blog! I love the photos and recipes... and I have wondered what you do with your zinnias. Are they just for cut flowers? Do you sell them or the seeds? Are they just for "pretty" in your garden? Zinnias are my favorite flower. :)

Hi Sherelle ! I am from New Hampshire. I don't remember how I found your blog (maybe 2peas or looking for shabby chic ideas), but yours is one of the most interesting I read. I love seeing your photography and scrapbooking. I also find it interesting to read about your life on the farm because it is different than our life in a small city.

Hey Sherelle! I give a shout out from the central Oregon Coast in a tiny oceanside town called Waldport, it means, where the ocean meets the sea and that is the literal truth! I actually posted a comment to you the other day! I have been reading your blog for probably close to 6 months. I found you through the Melissa Francis Website because I had noticed these awesome rubons on the cards and began to look around for them on her website and figured out that they were called Sherelles Rubons and so, went to your site. I was attracted right away to the fact that you reside in Idaho as did I and so love the great state! Anyway, love the photos, you have a lovely family and a beautiful little sister.

Hi Sherelle,
I found your blog a while back though Camille Roskelley's blog (if I remember correctly?). My main passion is quilting, but I also have a great love of photography, baking, and gardening so your blog is right up my alley! I love seeing your photos and your cute kids. I also love seeing the cute hair styles you come up with for your girls. I live in Iowa and have 4 kids also. I don't have a blog, but just wanted to introduce myself. Thanks for sharing your life here and for some great ideas and inspiration. For me, reading the blog of a like-minded person gives me sparks of creativity, new ideas, and fun things to try.

Hello Sherelle,
I've been reading your blog for forever. Sorry I don't comment more often! You are incredibly inspiring to me.
I just moved to Provo lat year, but previously I lived in Rexburg (worked in IF) and would shop at Scrap Coop all the time. I miss that store, I get why you gave it up though. I know we've met a few times, but I don't know if you would remember me.
Thanks for your cute blog! Love it!!!

Hi Sherelle,
I've been reading your blog for about a year now but I can't remember how I found you. I'm not a scrapbooker but I love seeing the things you sew, cook but most of all the beautiful photographs of you and your family on your farm. I live in Louisville, Kentucky and work full time for a commercial real estate developer. I'm married to a wonderful man and we have two sons. My oldest is married and he and his wife are giving me my first grandchild in January. I'm sooo excited!! My youngest is starting his freshman year of college this year at the University of Louisville. I don't have a blog but I'm thinking of maybe starting one. If I do, I'll be sure to let you know! p.s. We don't yet know if we'll be having a grandson or a granddaughter. If it turns out to be a granddaughter, I would love for you to tell me how you made your girls those adorable doll quilts so I can make one too!
