Garden Therapy

In the evening...when the heat of the day finally gives way to the cool evening air, we love to be outside in the garden. There is always something that needs done. It is a LOT of work...don't get me wrong...but we love spending time together working in the garden. Weeding, picking...it's the perfect family activity.The garden is growing nicely and we are starting to get lots of fresh produce...but pretty soon, the workload is going to really hit home. We will be canning and freezing like crazy for the rest of the summer!

Pioneer Day 2012

On July 24, we celebrated Pioneer Day with a fun party and fiddle performance. We enjoyed playing all of our old time fiddle tunes and the kids especially enjoyed all of the old fashioned activities. Lily even won the stick pony race...she was so proud of herself!

Great Grandma's House

The kids have been enjoying their fun play dates at great grandma Russell's house...they love to play in her irrigated yard, pick apples and look at her beautiful garden.
