Missing You...

I can't believe it's been a whole year since that awful day. I sometimes wish that the memories of that day would fade, but they are still crystal clear in my mind, and it hurts when those memories flood back into head. I don't know how we could have possibly spent a whole year without her brightness...her laughter...her smile...her pranks. I love and miss you Lisa!

Playing in the Water at Great Grandma's

My grandma Russell called this morning and said she was flood irrigating her yard. The kids love to run through her yard when it's covered with water, so we put on their swimsuits and headed over. They had a great time running through grandma's yard and snacking on homemade cream puffs and ice cream cones.

Summer Fun

We're busy working and playing and enjoying everything that summer has to offer. I'm so thankful that we have everything we need right here on our farm...and we can stay home and enjoy the lazy days of summer. The kids have been on our slip and slide almost daily (they're on it as I type) and they are soaking up the time with cousins and family.
