We spent a nice evening hunting for wild asparagus this week. Lily and Kate were able to help us hunt for the delicious asparagus for the first time. They usually have to sit in the truck while David and I traverse all of the ditch banks and edges of the fields, but they're getting big enough now to help us search. They were so excited when they found their first plants! I have many fond memories of searching for asparagus on the ditch banks with my grandma Russell and my mom. I can remember times when we found bags and bags. I love passing on those little traditions that meant a lot to me as a child.
