For what avail the plough or sail, or land or life, if freedom fail? ~Ralph Waldo Emerson
Monday is just around the corner, and we're looking forward to a day spent celebrating our great nation. My heart is full when I think about all of the sacrifice that was made along our country's road to freedom...and I am indeed grateful for the beautiful place which I can call home and for the freedoms which I enjoy here. We finally got our Independence Day decor displayed on our front porch...so we're ready for the holiday festivities!

When I saw the obituaries I was saddened to hear about your family's loss. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. Life is fragile and I loved your post about what really matters.

I came here to share that I made a panel skirt for my daughter after seeing the adorable ones on Grace and Shelby in your archives. I just read Kelli Robbins comment and realize there has been a loss - please know your family remains in our prayers!

Sherelle, I am so sorry about your sister in law. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help. We are praying for you and your family at this time. Lisa was an incredible person, she always had a smile on her face and so friendly. Again sorry for your loss.
