The weather was great today, and we had plenty of chores to do around home. We went to a few yard sales first thing this morning, and then came home to do house work and morning chores. After that, we had to feed and water all the animals and water the plants in the greenhouse...and then I sprayed all the weeds in my mother-in-laws yard. To reward my kids for all their work this morning, we went on a picnic. We had to take lunch to David and Barry, so we decided we would have a picnic by the field.
After lunch, we all worked in the yard and garden some more...
the kids played with their animals and were covered in dirt by the end of the day (see this post for more on that)

The composition on the second foto is just dreamy! I would frame that foto. ~m

Your pictures are just gorgoues!!
How do you get the rounded corners? It makes them look beautifully old fashioned!
Can I live your life for a few days?!

I think I found your blog through Camille's but I'm not sure. Can I just say I LOVE IT - love reading about the farmlife with your family and all the adorable pictures! I have 9 kids and before we moved we did a lot of similar things, but now live in town on less than an acre, such an adjustment but we are finding we love this too in different ways though.

I love those picnic pictures with that old, big fence post and pretty blanket. It reminds me when I was little and would go with my mom to take lunch to my grandpa. I wish that I had pictures from those lunch dates with grandpa...
ALSO, I love the perspective in the picture with your little girls watching the big tractor coming. You are a GREAT photographer!
