Because little Lily still hasn't mentioned anything about that "real" puppy she kept asking for...Santa brought her a puppy that barks and walks, and is super cuddly...yet you don't have to feed it or clean up it's poo. My kind of doggie. I'm so glad that she is happy. She loves her new puppy, which she promptly named Peaches...
I had a goal to sew myself and the kids Christmas aprons this year...and for once, I actually completed the project before Christmas! David snapped a quick pic of all of us in our aprons...(I didn't make Russ' apron though)
I'm signing off from the computer for a few days to spend some quality time with my family. May you and your family have a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year! I indeed have many things to be thankful for during this season...I thank my Father in Heaven for the blesssings and gifts I have each day...and for the gift of His Son, Jesus Christ on that Christmas long ago. One of my photography goals, has been to figure out how to take nice photos in the dark, by the tree. I've always struggled with getting the look I want, and I hate using a flash...it makes every photo ugly. I think that I have finally figured it out after lots of playing around. I even played with some fun Bokeh effects ...I'm going to practice more tomorrow with Grace and Russ...
I had put it off long enough...we're running out of time, so I picked the kids up from school, and we headed straight to town to visit Santa before it was too late. I get the kids' photo taken with santa every year...look at these cuties...they were so excited to see the Jolly Old Fellow...
and yes, Lily asked for a puppy...again :) even though I assured her that we can't have a dog because it would kill all of our chickens, ducks, geese, ginuea hens and rabbits. hmmmmmmm...I think I have a solution though ;)
