Bad Luck...

Ok...LOL...I'm back again today, because in a house with four little ones, there is always something funny being said (and when there are so many things,  I forget very quickly).

David just came home for a minute, and I asked him to check on Lily and Kate. They were in Kate's room playing dress up, and David knocked on the door and then opened it up. Lily yelled at him and slammed the door. "It's bad luck to see the dress, dad". I think she's been watching Say Yes to the Dress on TLC with Grace...LOL!

Where Does Water Come From???

Breakfast conversation this morning:

Lily: mom, where does water come from?

Mom: I don't know, I guess Heavenly Father makes it.

Lily: How does he make it?

Grace: 2 parts hydrogen, one part oxygen.

Lily: Nuh-uh...I think He squeezes it out of watermelons.

Thats a deep converstaion for an early morning...

I'm just pretending...

Lily has a passion for make believe, but she also has a passion for disobeying her mother. When I tell her that she can't do something, she just tells me that she is pretending. I told her not to bring a kitchen bowl outside to play in the dirt today, and she kept telling me that she was just pretending. I assumed that she was pretending to get a bowl. When she brought the bowl out, I got upset..."I am just pretending", she said. Pretending to disobey? Pretending I am not your mother? I don't get it...
