Lily has a passion for make believe, but she also has a passion for disobeying her mother. When I tell her that she can't do something, she just tells me that she is pretending. I told her not to bring a kitchen bowl outside to play in the dirt today, and she kept telling me that she was just pretending. I assumed that she was pretending to get a bowl. When she brought the bowl out, I got upset..."I am just pretending", she said. Pretending to disobey? Pretending I am not your mother? I don't get it...

Not sure if it was me I would be smiling! Depends on which bowl, I guess :-). I just SO love to hear that your kids are normal and that YOU are normal. Makes me sit here and smile :-).
