i haven't shared any digital layouts in ages, so I thought maybe it was time. i've decided that i am tired of all the foof...i spent years and years adding as much crap and cutesy stuff to scrapbook pages as i could, and now that i look back, i think it is all dorky. i don't want to waste my time and be frustrated with the pages down the road, so i've streamlined my style and tried to keep things more "classic", and much more about the photos.

I too love your digital layouts. What program are you using? I am thinking about switching to digital, but I am unsure of what to use. I already own an older version of Adobe Photoshop Elements, but I am not really sure how to scrapbook with it. Thanks for your great blog. You have a beautiful family and you take beautiful photographs.

Love the digital layouts.....I am thinking I need to take the plunge and to them digitally as well cuz with six kids I don't think I will ever get caught up on scrapbooking for their albums!
Can you give us some hints as to how to even start scrapping digitally?! Do you use templates or design your own......sorry for the questions. Just don't know how to start out in this!
Thanks!
Julie

Hi Sherelle, i love the digi layouts. i have been wanting to have a go myself as it would save a lot of space in my house as i have so much stash. I really like the picking pears layout and the lovely colours in the hunting asparagus.
Mmmmmm, very tempted to try this digi scrapbooking!!!! However, still love all your paper layouts and i enjoy getting new papers and playing around with them.
Look forward to your next blog entry.

Okay, I've commented once or so but I am one of those people that just has to keep coming back to your site (sorry, I'm not freaky or anything) because I LOVE you pictures... LOVE them! And I've never been a huge scrapbooker because I'm not all into the fluff... and like you want the focus to be the pictures... but I LOVE LOVE LOVE what you did here! Just had to let you know! You are amazing with pictures and layouts! Thanks for sharing your creative genius!

I love your layouts, digital or traditional!! I don't think I could ever go completely digital. I LOVE to play around with all the elements of a page. While I love a new embelly as much as the next gal, I also like to see how far I can stretch a package. Thanks for all of the inspiration.

Beautiful!! Do you use temmplates? If so, which ones did you use for these? I need to get caught up and am looking for some good templates to use. I love your layouts!

Oh, love the colors and how you use pictures instead of stuff to fill a page!

Darling pages! Where do you go to have them printed? I've been on the lookout for a place to print mine and haven't found one yet.

I have been wanting to get back to the basics and add more of the story behind the pictures instead of all the fluff. I havent had any time to scrap since Logan was born but now I have millions of picts of him to scrap! I have to get them done. You can get more done without the fluff too.

I LOVE your scrapbooking, now and before! These pages are more like mine though, my goal is to strictly stay caught up, and this is the only way I have found that is possible! You have a beautiful family Sherelle! I also LOVE that you have been posting more!!! It makes my day to see a new post from you! Thanks for sharing your life with all of us!

Fun Stuff! I have been so missing the creative side of scrapbooking - I have so many photos and stories to do something with. I wanna play and get those memories 'down' somewhere...thanks for the inspiration.

Beautiful! do you use Light Room to create your digi pages? Or do you still have to use PhotoShop Elements? I have PSE7... but I love all the photo editing you can do on Light Room..
Thanks

I switched to digital earlier this year and I couldn't be happier. I was digging through my albums last weekend moving stuff around and all with the paper LOs the "stuff" was falling off and the layout were bulky and just ewwwww... For me, it's always been about the pictures and the story. My future generations aren't going to care about some new embellishment I used or the artistry involved in a layout.
These are wonderful. :)
