The girls and I played fiddle tunes at the Pioneer Days Celebration yesterday (for those of you who don't know, this is a day to celebrate our heritage and our ancestors who traveled westward for religious freedom). (check out the fun we had back in 2006)
My talented mom whipped up these dresses two days prior to our performance...we fell in love with the pattern, and she sewed them up for us...aren't they pretty?
Lily and Kate with uncle Paul...
My mom sewed Grace's dress too...but we've had it for a few years...
And just because there are so many beautiful things to photograph outside, here is a look at some of the good things in the garden...
Sunflowers are starting to open...
Rows of beautiful Zinnias...I love Zinnias...I love that each flower has a different color, shape, and size...
Wee little cantaloupes...
big red raspberries...
yummy peaches...
juicy pears...
sour green apples, and sweet corn...

A feast for the eyes! Love all your photos and wow, such neat dresses!
