I was visiting Christy's blog today, and I saw these stinkin' cute felt shapes from my neighbor, Brooke (hi Brooke)!!! She has them for sale in her Etsy shop, and I know I am going to have to get some!!! You should go check them out!
Ok...here is one of my second favorite actions...but you are going to want to kill me, because I can't find the link to the silly things!!! I bought these from My Digital Muse (I think), and they are by Holly McCaig, but I just can't find them anywhere. They are called Purty Pics Actions, and they are specifically for Photoshop Elements. There are several different actions in the bundle, but my favorite is this one black and white conversion. I love black and white photos, but I like them to be very bright and very contrasting. I like lots of white in my black & white photos (if that makes any sense at all)...so out of all of the different B&W conversions I have found this is my favorite. I used it on my banner photo above, and I use quite often on my photos. If any of you are able to find it anywhere...please let me know! Here are some before and afters using my favorite in the set...
On a different note, I have promised for ages now, and I keep getting emails...FINALLY...here are the instructions for making the key chains I posted a while back...
1. First off, you will need the Alex Hang Tags from the Bare Elements collection by Creative Imaginations. These will serve as the base for the keychains. You can purchase them here.
2. Next, you will need to cover them with your favorite patterned paper, photos, stickers, embellishments etc.
3. After adhering all of the "goodies" I simply used modge podge to paint a layer over the entire piece. Then, after it dries, simply use the hardware included in the hang tag pkg. to add the grommets and chains.
4. Simply add the pieces together on the chain, and connect them to your keychain.
