It has been an eventful weekend...I was able to get away for a few days with my mother in law and sister in laws for a shopping trip to Salt Lake City. We had a great time, and it was nice to get away without the kids, but I really missed them horribly! I was so glad to be back home with them, even though it was nice to get away. We spent out afternoon yesterday making Halloween treats...we made some Pumpkin Jello Popcorn balls and Halloween Sugar Cookies. The kids had a great time baking all of the goodies...and it was nice to just spend a day doing something they enjoyed! My sweet little Kate turned one month old yesterday...I can't believe how fast the time goes when you aren't pregnant! Add in the fact that my hands are just so full with all of these little kids, and time just flies by! I think I might be a little sad that she is growing up so fast, because she is my last baby :( The last picture is of Russ...this morning we woke up to snow, and he was pumped up! All morning he has been talking about sledding and snowmobiling, and Santa coming. He is ready for winter! He wanted to go outside so bad, and I finally dressed him up all warm...I thought that since Grace was at school, he would only play for a minute or two, but he played out in the cold for about 50 minutes! He took out his toy snow machine and kept sending it down the slide on the swingset...he was just too cute!
