Buddies. It has been a cold, blustery day today. I think the winter storms are finally starting to head our way. Despite the cold, Grace and Russell wanted to get outside to practice a little basketball after all of their schoolwork was done. They are playing on a local kids league, and they are anxious to get more practice dribbling and shooting the ball. They're braving the weather to shoot a few hoops. Of course, June follows Russell everywhere he goes, and poor Russ has to share the ball with June. She wants to be a part of everything he does :) They are best buddies...June is very partial to Russell. She wants to do whatever Russ does.

How wonderful, nothing as sweet as a boy with his dog. My son{ now a man}, had a dog named Chance. They were devoted to each other. I have wonderful memories and pictures of those two together.
